Ok,so ive posted a few thread asking for help...

and i can hot swap and stuff now if i screw up.. but!

i have soft modded about 8 xboxs non have given me trouble!

this one when i run splinter cell and it loads linux and then if i try back up the screen goes green and you cant make out anything so i just wait for the light to go green and restart the xbox...

and same when you try install the mod... so does anybody know why the screen is being all messed up....
because i cant see whats happening!

also if i half install the mod, enough to get to boxplorer in linux, i have slayer copied to e drive and when i try run that it goes strait to the error 21 screen

please help! i kinda need to have this fixed soon. (like a few hours haha)

Are you using the same installer that you used to softmod the first 8 xboxes?

yep, exactly the same one... off the same memory card and everything... also since ive been trying this xbox i tried re doing my own with the same files and the screen dont go green or anything.?

umm that doesnt make sense at all...

try re downloading the installer and putting it back on the mem card.

what installer are you using?

i use sid 4 and it works fine.

well i downloaded all the software ages ago and put the usb on the end of my controller and put the 2 files (splinter cell load game, and the linux file) on to my memory card.

so i mean i got them two files on the hard drive.

so i put in splinter cell and load the linux folder now im in linux (i just hotswapped the xbox back to normal)

but now when i goto back up the screen will just go green and then blue ( like the xbox turned off and went back to AV channel )
and the colour of the LED light at the front stays orange until i assume its done which is when it goes flashing green.

and then this same thing happens when i press UDE install.

and then when its done it and i turn off the xbox (because after the screen goes weird it dont return not matter how long i wait)

so yeh when i restart it just comes up error 13 because i must have messed up the c drive and stuff which results in me hot swaping

so that exactly what happens

by the way i got slayer but the xbox wont mod so i can run the cd/dvd/cd-rw/dvd-rw (ive tried all)

also i can get to boxplorer but i can load anything bu evox so even when i copy all the files to the xbox, say in e drive i cant load them.... it just comes up error 21.

even with other dash board it come up error 21..

So nobody has seen anything like this???

is there away that i can do the whole mod through FTP...

because i can get into evox and FTP.

so is it possible??
