http://203.56.127.51/topic/pdf/DOWNLOADS...tail_Brochure_I ssue_1_2005.pdf (I have the TOSHIBA M40) it said it can support dual layer disks, I am guessing it works fine... and I have already copied a game succesfully to a DL disk before (Gears of war once again), it booted to the Microsoft Intro then exited.
Below is the screen I am shown before burning th .dvd file.
The .dvd file has had the layer number taken out and just has gow.001 - I put the layer break number into the imgburn settings.

did u try not using the .dvd file and just burn the image file directly. also why is your Gow .001? usually it is .000 or .iso i have never seen a .001 maybe that is your problem. but i don't think renaming it will help. try my first suggestion, and cross your fingers you dont get coaster.
