Hi newbies:

I just checked to day and THE card(SYBA SY-VIA-150 PCI SATA / IDE Combo Controller Card) to use to flash your samsung drive is on sale at newegg for $10 SHIPPED. I bought this card for $15 awhile back and it worked flawlessly. This is THE card to use, no matter what you motherboard. If you can get your drive to detect... use this card and it will work.

I've seen alot of PC's that won't even work with this SYBA card installed. I've heard it works well when it DOES work. I'd personally reccommend a VIA 6241a chipset card that's not this SYBA one. Rockwill makes a good one.
