Im having a problem backing this up. My free trial of AnyDVD ran out, so i have been trying ripit4me and DVDfab and errors occured for both of them. Is there any other way of backing this DVD up?

There is nothing special about this movie. What errors are you getting? I ripped with Shrink and burned it with Nero, no problem.

There shouldn't be anything special encryption wise on that DVD...I think I did with DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink by their lonesome. What error are you getting? Could be a bad disc, or scratched/dirty.

Its gotta be a scratchy disk b/c i went to watch it and it was skipping a lot. Thanks though

edit: Right around 20% it gives me the message "DVD Shrink encountered an Error and can not continue. Failed to read D drive Data error (cyclic redundancy check)"

And this is right around the part of the movie that it starts to skip. So its gotta be a bad disc.

You're right, a scratchy disc will cause that. You can try polishing the disc. Automotive polish helps. Personally, I use a resurfacing tool for scratch problems.
