I'm going to be purchasing a 360 in the coming days and wanted to know if anyone could bring me up to speed on what's been going on with the scene lately? I'm in Iraq and found it hard to keep up....last thing I remember people were flashing firmwares with a SATA chip and seeking out certain DVD drives.....what's happening now?...is there a viable softmod solution? Has anyone been booting backups from the harddrive? has anyone added an large external HD and stuffed it full of backups?
my internet time is limited and would appreciate if someone could bring me up to speed with the best way to go from a brand new X-box 360 to a modded version capable of playing backups....
