So, my laptop has been having a ridiculous ammount of errors come up at start up. It wont let me open up any programs half the time. Im not sure where to start. Here are my logs i guess thats something:

What kind of errors are you seeing... exact descriptions wording of them would be better, if you could.

Not seeing much in your log... though I'm unsure of this line:

F3 - REG:win.ini: run=C:\WINDOWS\system32\softreg\svchost.exe/

Can I get you to go to VirusTotal and have that file scanned please. Copy/paste the report it will return into your reply.

I get errors on start up like teh basic windows ones that ask u if you would like to send a report. I get this with ANY program i want to open up, IE, AIM, anythign i try to run it will pop up the message and then close the app shortly after. Only simetimes wilkl i get lucky and it will let me run it.

OK... not sure if this will work for you.

Try merging this regfix...

Right click on the link and choose Save As... or Save Target As...

Save it to your Desktop.

Double click the file and answer yes when asked to merge it into the Registry.

Reboot and see if that helps any.

OK... could be a number of things causing this issue... a piece of software acting up... something within windows... hardware.

One thing you could try is to disable Dr. Watson by following the instructions here:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/188296

And see if that helps you any.

Or post a Dr. Watson log and I can see if I can figure out what is going on... though I am by from from experienced with those logs.
