Does anyone have any idea how I can get gameshark codes for Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence (NOT SNAKE EATER)?? Thankyou very much.
PS Gameshark.com doesn't have any. Also the AR MAX codes will not convert with MAX CONVERTER. Thanx

i have the same issue i cant seem to convert AR to GS...
i hear on this other forum GS and AR are secretly meeting and learning how to use encrypting on there codes now forcing us to buy there hardware in order to use there codes!
witch is total BS!!! NO FREEDOM ANY MORE...

and now gamefaqs dont allow u to post requests to convert GS,AR anymore this really sucks.

so please if u find any share kk.

I actually got my hands on the original MGS 3 and the AR Max codes convert fine. I don't know if your already using this but there is a program you can download for free called ManConvert. Type it in a search engine and it will pop up. It can convert most Ar Max, Gameshark, and Codebreaker codes but not all. If you have problems figuring it out just let me know.

yeah i did maxconvert_v0_71 and i used the ps2 action replay max codes.

i tested um 3 times i still die and no infinite ammo...
i am still in the first zone, sand and aligators cant get past it :(

Your gonna have to get you hands on the original Metal Gear Solid 3. Or a copy of the game with a modified playstation 2. It's the same plot and same graphics. Subsistance just has a few extra cut scenes. You can convert the AR MAX codes for the original MGS 3, but not for Subsistance. I don't know why they won't convert. I had the same problem. Or you can by a Codebreaker disk from their website. I think it's like 20 bucks. Codebreaker always has updated codes for the newest games so you'll never have a problem getting codes to work again. However If your trying to play a burned copy of any game, Codebreaker won't work.

no way, i just paid 40 bucks at ebgames for that game new sealed! its not moded or gratest hits brand new.
does the version really matter here is my version.

Yes because the codes for Subsistence won't convert to Gameshark format. If you paid 40 bucks for that game you got ripped off. I'd try to take it back. I got mine for 10 bucks used at gamestop. Sorry. PS. Or you can just wait another year for Gameshark to post codes that work on their site.
