Any one to help with my PS2 model 30001,moded with Magic 3 V6, i disassembled it to clean the lens, and reassembled it correctly...to find that the cd tray does not want to open and gives a blank screen with no sound.

Looks like you fried your BA5815FM chip along with a fuse next to it. Check the fuse next to BA chip if its dead then your BA chip is also dead. Looks like you need to change it, and it aint no picnic. I know because it happened to me and it took me half a day tor replace it; mostly because I didn't have all the proper tools.

if it worked fine before you opened it then i would say you had to have done something while you were in there. Just cleaning the laser should not burn out the chip. Did you check all your ribbon cables to make sure you did not pull one out when you took off the top?
