If anyone knows please tell me. Or would I have to Upgrade to a custom firmware. Because i want to listen to all of my music but still keeping the homebrews.

You can tell Media Player to save your music into MP3 format instead of WMA, Theres an option you can change somewhere. You will probably have to re-rip your music but it will work.... Had same bother with my MP3 phone

Not exactly I sent the music files directly from the psp to windows audio converter in windows media player so i could just convert the music and then replace it for the WMAs in the PSP

Just kiddin,
Once you change the rip option to MP3 in WMP then all future music copied to the pc goes to MP3 format. Then you can copy the music to the PSP.
I think the converter will only convert music TO WMA and not from WMA to other formats...

oh ok, but I cannot rip the music again, because i downloaded some music that was in WMA format and i got some others from CDs from friends you know. And did u mean that you cannot convert WMA to Mp3 using the WMP?

You can rip music from CD to MP3 but cant convert already ripped music to other formats... Not with WMP anyway..
If you were going to convert the tunes then you would be just as quick to re-rip them as converting music formats takes a LONG time...

Hmmm so Im pretty much screwed with the music that is in WMA right?
I guess and im going to look for the same songs in Mp3 and re-rip some CDs and also change them to Mp3...Oh well, hey and do you know that if i upgrade to a custom firmware, am i going to be able to listen to the WMAs?

What are you using at the mo? HEN + Devhook? What ver PSP & MB have u got?
There are tons of tutorials on here for getting to a custom firmware.
You can play WMA on official firmwares after a certain version but it has to be activated on the net first.
Or install a custom firmware and you dont need to activate WMA playback for it to work, And run homebrew without any hen, devhook or homebrew launchers, and ps1 games, And run backups (copies, pirates;) of PSP games off of memory cards...

ok man all that i needed to know is that you can play WMAs in a custom firmware, calm down. and i used HEN to DG and my mobo is IC6001 I forgot the TA- number, sorry if i wasnt clear

If you downgraded to 1.50 then you should Upgrade to a custom firmware, Getting to 1.50 is half the risk but you must know what you are doing if you got this far..
Custom firmwares are just Oficial Firmwares hacked to enable homebrew and other cool things that sony dont want, like play copies or ps1 games not from the sony site.
Ive got over 30 psp games and only have 1 thats on a UMD...
