Hey you gurus,

How do I get Media Player Classic (or any suitable player) to utilize the hardware h.264 decoding of my ATI Radeon x1950 Pro when playing .mkv -files (the Matroska container)?

I can play h.264 with CoreAVC (which I purchased), but it does not utilize the hardware acceleration and has my CPU often running near 100%.

I've tried installing the CyberLink "h.264 Player for ATI", but when I then disable the CoreAVC, Media Player Classic fails to play .mkv files. I have the Haali Media Splitter installed, but MPC gives an error that suitable link for Cyberlink player "output pin" can't be found.

I've installed the latest drivers for my Radeon.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
