i downloaded xbox media player, but i put the folder in my apps folder in my xbox nothing opens it just a folder. how do i get it to work?

ok if u have avalunch go to that connect it to the net ok then open network in settings there u will see download go to that it will take a while to come up there u will see a list of stuff press a on the xbmc installer it will download it then unpack it and stuff it will do all ur media needs and ur net needs etc great stuff when it is finished it will say unpacking let it say unpacked and installed succesfully then give it a minute ok now turn ur box off and turn it back on it should be in the apps
