Hi can you help me i have Windows Vista 64 bit on my pc .But Halo combat evolved will not work on the Vista. It comes up with to install DirectX 9.0 but the new Vista has the DirectX 10 so can you help with this . Thanks William

Leave it to Microsoft!!

Vista and DX10 go together as far as I know.

Halo 2 for the PC is going to be for Vista only.

So if Halo Combat Evolved insists on DX9 you aren't going to be able to run it on Vista until they update the game (patch) to allow it.
