I remember seeing a forum a while back on how to load your gameboot from your memory stick but i'm unable to find it right now...does anyone know how to load a gameboot from memory stick? what files are needed? whats steps do i take? etc, etc. I'm currently running 3.03 oe-b firmware

Are you talking about flashing your gameboot w/o going through recovery menu? if so, check out one of the newest versions of x-flash, or PSPset (what im using to flash gameboots & bootsounds)...
if not...you may have meant this:
It is possible to change your coldboot (Bootscreen) in 3.03 OE-A & B with <a href="http://dl.qj.net/index.php?pg=19&src=cintro&catid=">Cintro</a> to any ol gameboot.pmf that im sure you can find floating around the internet somewhere...

nah i was talking about running the gameboot from your memory stick without having to flash at all. I found the forum that had it though and its working good. Thanks anyways :D

thanks but is it dangerous in any way? in other words does it interfere with the flash?
Currently on my 7th PS3 and 4th Xbox, gotta love technology..

it changes a small line of code somewhere that tells it to read the Gameboot from MS instead of Flash.
but it's fine after that first initial little mess, in other words, easier to switch gameboots later or safer i guess.
