that is your whole problem...its a good idea to research a lil bit about stuff before u just start messing with flash on PSP. More and more "people" are doing this everyday. Anyhow you should have looked into recovery mode. Can you access recovery mode? Do you know how?

u should still be able to access recovery unless u mean u started the actual reflashing of the files and then the psp shut down. explain in great detail what happened step by step

ok first i turned on the PSP, then i pressed and holded R to acces the recovery mode as you told me, then i left the PSP in teh recovery mode, after that i decided to start up the 1.50 recovery installer, then as it said in the 1.5 installer program i closed all programs, then the 1.5 installer thing said to put the root of the PSP,then i putted the PSP in USB mode on the bottom part it said USB enabled, after that it just shutted down.

Oh, crap i read the thread from the link from gasconade, and my psp would be considered "fully bricked" but the recovery mode runs, can I still put the 1.5 recovery winstaller?

i was really vague there, i meant sometimes a partial brick will have a black-screen; really only refering to OE's since recovery negates all that jive....

Hex i need ur help i upgraded to version 3.10 OE-A and it worked. So then i went to recovery mode to put my custom xmb but i forgot to make a backup of my ms0:/vsh/resource folder. So now when i turn on my psp it says the SCEA logo but the screen stays white and freezes on the xmb. Obviously its semi-bricked wat should I do?

Hex's OE-A Recovery Winstaller...its stickied at the top of the fourm discussion board home page...
open recovery if you can, hold down right trigger.... then, you should be able to take it from there... good luck mate..
