good dvd burner software on internet?

anyone know of good free software for burning dvds? i used to use DVD Shrink but all the sudden its not working. and i bought a new sony dvd burner that came with Nero but it cancels itself halfway through the burning process. any ideas?

Hi daltonr_5
If your just using Shrink alone there's alot of movies it will no longer handle.

So if Shrink is canceling during the encoding that might be the cause - can't hang with the copy protection.
Rip 1st with DVDFab Decrypter then open those files in Shrink - link.

Or there's RipIt4Me - uses Decrypter, Shrink and FixVTS - guide w/ links to download.
You'll also find a link to download ImgBurn on that page - great free burning program.

If done encoding and failing when it's burning to disc (shrink doesn't have it's own burn engine - uses Nero's if you picked your burner in select backup target) then post the last Nero log and we can take a look.
You can find them here:
Nero 6 - program files>ahead>nero>nerohistory.
Nero 7 - programs files>nero>nero 7>core>nerohistory.

Just need the last one - be sure to edit out the serial # too - begins with 1A, 1C or 5C.
