my sister just got a psp with fw 2.81 and i was going to downgrade to a 1.5 but then i hear that 3.2 is better if you want to run iso's???the psp is not connected to the internet(if that helps).
so im wondering what to do

downgrade to 1.5 then upgrade to custom firmware 3.03OE-C or 3.10 OE-A which ever you want. remember not sony 3.xx firmware but custom firmware

i was reading more and i found out that i have
1.ic1003 in my umd drive is this still a problium??
2.do i still need to buy gta lcs
3.can i downgrade to 1.5 if i use a 2.80 downgrader even do i have 2.81??

1 and 2 no clue but for 3. u cant downgrade with a 2.8 downgrader u need a downgrader that ur firmware. not sure if they got a 2.81 downgrader so i would say upgrade to 3.03 then get an unpatched gta lcs and downgrade like that.

HEy buddy DO NOT update to Sony's firmware. You shoudl First try to DOWNGRADE to 1.50 and then you can Upgrade to 3.03 OE-C or leaves as is. You must do a check first: if you have a TA-082 Motherboard. Just search around and ull see how to find out and how to downgrade.

yes i do have a TA-082 Motherboard.my psp is now ver 3.03.i must get gta to downgrade it now.is this a good card to get?

dont listen to this guy u need to upgrade to official sony 3.03 then use the noobz 3.03 downgrader to downgrade to 1.5

if u try to flash custom firmware to ANY (apart from 1.0 or 1.5) official version then u will brick it!

make sure when u get gta lcs it is UNPATCHED version of the game because you cant downgrade with the patched version. i think the unpatched version of gta has like a 2.0 update while patched has a 2.6 on it, not sure.

yes i know about the patched version and non patched versions.i was going to get it off ebay but dam are they pricey i saw 1 for ?75
so my sister said she will going to shops friday and look for it 2nd hand.also is there something wrong with a "Sandisk Memory Stick Pro Duo 4GB" for ?53 as i saw it in a shop for ?200.realy should of asked before i bought it do

never know might be a fake mem stick and 4gb sandisk in canada i seen them in stores running for about 100$ now so 200 is a rip off i think

fake ones can mess up and they might of done something to make it show a fake amount of gb like example the card is fake and it says 2GB and u put it in ur psp it comes up as 2GB but when you try putting a 2G file in it doesnt work, its because this card is really maybe 1 GB or something and they just messed around with it to say 2GB

all right i downgraded my psp to 1.5 then to 3.10OE-A.
ive got
.games on memery stick to work
.ive converted ps1 games and got them to work(not in full screen do??)

but can ye tell me what to do to get "sega MEGADRIVE/genises to work??i have roms for it and i have an emulater im just not sure what to do

omg, why'd you have to update to 3.03 sony fw? you should have gone to 1.5 then update 3.03oe-c. now you have to get a umd of the unpatched gtalc.

if you read above you would of realised that i all ready have gtalcs.i had to update to 3.03 because she had ver 2.81 fw and there is only a downgrader for 2.80 and 3.03
