Hey guys..I haven't got a lot of experience with scripting but i've heard that LUA is pretty easy,and i wanted to take a shot at it..i had some practice with scripting back in high school so i might be able to get something done...the problem though is that i don't know where to get the program to start writing code,and was hoping that there might also be some kind of guide to get me starting..so if anyone know of anything please let me now...thanks..

can you give me a little help?
is there a way to clear a certain part of the screen?i'm asking this cause in this app i'm working on every time a button is pressed a value on the screen increases or decreases accordingly..but if i use the screen clear command then the rest of the text starts flashing because it's constantly clearing and re-appearing...thanks...
