Audio clips, still images, text files on a DVD movie?

I've got a bunch of video clips I want to burn to DVD-R so that I can watch them on a standalone.

I also want to get a little fancy and also include audio files (no video associated with them), still images, and maybe text.

How do I go about doing this?

Also, my video files are in divx format. Are they a pain to convert to DVD video?
