Man, the box is piss poor! :o)

Losing channels for a while, I can sort of put up with.
Having to update the .bin file more often than I had to with DBox images, I can also sort of put up with.

But the hassle that is the whole 'Favourites' thing is a royal pain in the arse.

Lost some of the Sky channels a couple of days ago and was in the process of rescanning them when a mate called and said that the way to do it is to go to say Sky Movies 3, menu out to the setup screen and do a manual scan (check to see if there is a signal first though..if not try another channel)..

All done and dusted, channels are back, which is nice...or so I thought!
The 'working' Sky Channels are not updated in my favourites folders..ohhh no, that would be too easy, they are now duplicated at the end of the channel listings, and to make things even more awkward there is no easy way to delete the non-working channels out of the folders...so you end up with like 3 of every channel and only one works. :?

So after getting bogged down with shit that may or may not work, I bit the bullet and deleted the whole fecking lot.
So here goes another 45 minutes of farting around putting all the shit back where it should go.. :evil:
I'd sell the bloody thing but I'm thinking I'd end up getting my legs broke. :p

I'd rant on about the shitty EPG as well, but I haven't got all night! :lol:
