ok i am using the tut below...
i did everything that i need to except this part when he says to
"after you get both those installed you need to replace the etter.dns with the one from ps3news" please some1 tell me what to do now, i understand everything else i did. thanks in advance and please help

OK for all those who want to use the spoof using Windows here is how i did it.

First download ettercap for windows from here
( https://sourceforge.net/project/show...kage_id=130431 )
I used ettercap-NG-0.7.2-win32.exe

Afterwards you install that you will need to download winpcap from ( http://www.winpcap.org/install/bin/WinPcap_4_0.exe )

after you get both those installed you need to replace the etter.dns with the one from ps3news

Now run ettercap
choose the tab that says sniff --> unified Sniffing
choose your network adapter and press ok

next go to the tab that says plugin -->manage plugins
select dns_spoofing (should be third on the list)

then under tab that says start
select start sniffing

then under hosts tab
scan for hosts

lastly go to Mitm --> Arp poisoining
Select one way poisoning

and you are set.

Works for me using windows xp with a laptop.

just found out that the bypass firmware now doesnt work with below 1.50. i had mines working about 2 weeks ago and now cant so it has been confirmed for only below 1.50

wait. does it or does it not work with 1.50 anymore? because i am at 1.50 and i tried to play some Madden online and it wouldn't work and i assumed that it was because my SimpleDNS expired...
