I've tried everything I can think of, including AnyDVD, but I can't get these two to copy. I've tried four or five different original DVDs of each as source material.

Buffy looks like it will work until it is about 98% of the way done encoding (in Shrink), then it shuts down Shrink. If I then try to open what was encoded so far, the file doesn't open.

Dick Van Dyke appears like a cyclical redundancy error about 70% through Analysis mode. Every DVD of it I've used gives me the same error at almost exactly the same spot.

Any solutions?

Was told not all DVDs in a set are burned at the same location. Have
run into sets in the past with this problem. It is very difficult
to locate a good one sometimes. Good luck!

Try using RipIt4Me. It seems to work even when AnyDVD doesn't. Find it here: http://www.ripit4me.org

It's worth a try to use RipIt4Me. I did not have that program when
I was having problems. That being said however I doubt if you
are going to be able to copy a defective disc. What I finally ended
up doing, was renting that disc to the set at several different
places till I found a good one. Since I paid full price for the
set I didn't see that as illegal. I was only trying to back up
what I paid for.
