Quality difference Originals VS backups do you see a difference? Textures load slow,long load times?

Xtreme 5.2a on Samsung MS28
I use these discs and burn at this speed. Not one coaster ever.
Please Note that I use CloneCD and not IMGBurn to burn my discs. I just used IMGBurn to show the media I.D.

if your playing on Live, chances are you will be playing on someone elses hosted game...
When the level loads you are waiting for the textures to be transferred to you from their game, you are not using your own ...as such
hence you may sometimes see a slight delay in the maps/textures loading
more commonly seen in RS Vegas, when there are 12+ people in the room

I switched my firmware it 5.2d to see if any backup that ran a little funky would would a little better in fast read and they all ran just about flawlessly at the fast read. I'll probably switch it to 5.2c a little later.

im just about to update my firmware, most prob going to use 5.2a as i dont use my originals only my backups...
what speed does old firmware read at?
plus am i right in saying that 5.2c.. it reads backups at 12x and orignals at 4x but it can be changed around. by changing the discs?,

5.2c plays backups at 12x and originals at 12x but can be switched to 4x for BACKUPS by inserting an original disc first. 5.2a is 12x no matter what. EVERY 5.2 firmware (a,b,c,d) plays originals at 12x.

sorry if i sound a bit stupid, but what speed did older firmwares read backups at? i thought it was 12x same as originals!
if so 5.2a is fine if you dont get any probs with backups on older firmwares..

I just flashed my drive its a ms28 with xtreme 5.2c after reading you guy""s posta I figure if it's not good I'll just switch with an original like you said It was my first successful flash and to think I heard the ms28 was the hardest to flash. I am happy and proud of my accomplishments though I dont know how it works because I did it at my job because my pc doesn't boot from usb and my floppy drive is broke I think but I hope it works I couldn't check because I forgot a control and its a brand new system I just swapped out because of red lights on my other one (thanx best buy)
I NEED HELP!!!!!!! I think..............
