Help Swap magic 3.6 DVD problem. not loading.

Ok i just bought my swap magic discs.
the cd version one works just fine. but its the dvd one thats i cant figure out i get the red screen of death when ever i try and load a dvd back up then it sends me to the menu of the PS2 browser and says please insert a valid ps2 disc etc... what am i doing wrong? is my disc messed up that i have to send them back?

I do know that a few people had this problem, and had to get replacements, have you tried cleaning the laser/disk?
