neither of those are very good DVD's
try some Verbatim 8X DVD-R and burn them at 4X with DVD Decrypter.

Memorex are just bad for games. use this as a guide.

Its hard to find those dvds in portugal.
Get verbatim/ridisc/sony.
Besides in a slim ps2 youl hardly notice the diference between taiyo yuden and the other good brands.

Any discs that work are good enough but you ae having trouble finding somel here are some that work:
Daxon Media
Princo
Ritek
Philips
Verbatim
Taiyo Yuden
Sony
Ive tested all fo them all of them work Princo is said to be crap but I have used them in my V3 ps2 since 2002 and havent needed to change the laser once so Ive come to a point its not the discs its the combination of Discs and burner search your burner see what people say about compatibility buy the nedia that is said to work and it will more then likely work in your Ps2.
Memorex sucks no matter what so does Imation.
