DVD works in Computer- Not in DVD player

I use DVD Shrink along with Ripit4me. My success rate is about 50% where some movies skip, stop, then end when played on a DVD player. These movies work OK on the computer. Any ideas?

Hi twnovak
Few questions for you-
What media are you using?
Burn speed?
Firmware up to date on the burner?

Players can be picky. Use good media like Verbatim or Tsiyo Yuden to reduce the chances of problems, burn at 1/2 the rated speed of the media and keep the firmware of the burner up to date.

Lens might be dusty on the player too - use a dvd lens cleaner or blow some canned air to try and clean it up a bit.

Could be your media. What are you using?
Try Taiyo Yuden, Maxell (made in Japan) Verbatim, Sony (made in japan) or TDK discs.
