need help loading iso'se

everytime i download an iso from a torrent and place it into teh iso folder of my memory stickand load it from 3.03 oe-c i get a black screen where the only button that works is the home button. EX daxter does this

Hmmm

->Put a UMD game in the drive
->Turn the unit off
->Hold "R" when powering on
->Goto "Configuration" and make sure "Use No UMD" is set to "Disabled"
->Exit recovery and try to run the game again

If this doesn't work post back

Also what type of file is it? ISO, CSO or DAX?
And what firmware do you have?

The game is daxter its a cso and its 779 mbs.
I have 3.03 0E-C custom firmware by the way its PAL
ive tried almost everything possible to make this game work and its giving me a headeache. I hate seeing the black screen

I assume you tried the above? If you did, go to the recovery menu again and set the CPU speed to 333mhz under "Game". I've heard many people say they've had problems on low CPU speed.

Sounds like a bad dump, do other ISO's work? Make/Download another copy is all i can suggest i'm afraid.
