PSP HELP!!!!

Hey guys, i got my first psp downgraded to 1.5 then upgraded to 3.0.3c and it worked for a little while then crashed while playing a game, the recovery screen would load but no boot screen or sound. I want to try it again i want to make sure that i have all the proper tools. i have the gta lcs umd (it is the brown background with the gun) it says on the top of the umd(Manufactured in U.S.A. ULUS 10041. UPDL 004850. Can anyone confirm if this one will work. Thanks for any help.

you dont need gta to downgrade 3.03 oe-c,you could use hexitnows installer in the stickys for recovery files that you need

also dont double post give people time to answer you :0\

the psp that i upgraded to 3.0.3 didn't work so i returned it. i have a new one but it is version 2.8.1

ahh so you will need the unpatched gta,stick your gta in if its got a 2.00 update on it its fine to downgrade with

i put the game in and under the game menu it says psp Update ver 2.00 is that right

is there a tutorial on how to downgrade properly. because the first time i did it it crashed durring a game and can't explain why? thanks
