OK i'll try and explain this as clearly as i can, i've never burned a DVD, but i know my way around PC's and Programs.

I plan on buying a Sony DVD+RW/-RW and i already bought some Memorex DVD +R 4X Blanks (maybe a mistake after reading posts). What is the best way to burn a DVD Movie i own and the flawless way ,so i don't have coasters everywhere. I heard DVDXCOPY Express works good for some and some say it's crap. I read somewhere on a post that DVDXCOPY EXPRESS can copy a DVD-9 to one DVD Disc. What i want is just to copy a DVD-5 and a DVD-9 to one DVD. I don't care about a 11.sec warning or menus or trailors or any extra stuff, i just want the movie. I want it to be a good quality so i'm not squinting while watching it but not the best so i don't have to put a movie on 2 DVDs. Any guides or any suggestiong from anyone who uses a sony and memorex DVDs or from anyone who can help, i would greatly appreciate it.

Try DVD Shrink latest. There's also a guide for it on this site.

DVD XCopy Xpress is simple. Purchase it and follow the simple 2 step process. I have a success rate of roughly 95% on backing up movies. The good part is you know before you ever put in a blank disc if there will be a problem because the problem is always in the reading phase if there is a problem. This prevents coasters. Try it-you will like it.

Um i would never use dvdxcopy first of all dvd shrink is free and better because it breaks the css encryption instead of bypassing it but the learning curve is longer.

i am not really sure wut you are saying here but let my try

what you want to do is take a movie off a disk that is a dvd - 5 (4.38 GB capacity) then take another movie off a disk that is a dvd-9 7.95 GB capacity) and then put it on another disk that is either dvd-5 (4.38GB capacity) or dvd - 10 (duel side w/ 8.75 GB capacity)
basically putting two movies on one disk?

well the quality will be crap but you could do it by reauthoring it in dvd shrink. read the guides first.___

That's what we've just been talking about. If you want a free programme that will do this then DVD Shrink is a good choice. DVDXCopy Xpress does the same thing quicker but is not free.

Use re-author mode in DVD Shrink for your problem
