I am finding that my internet is now slower...I'm not sure if this is becuase of the vista tho. And it came with a upgrade assistant but it didn't work very well. Every time i start my machine it tries the same task over and over, but it never works.

No help I know.. Maybe you can investigate the "run at startup" list and remove the offending item?
