UMMM...That reply was not help at all. And whats a Pioneer DVR-AO6??? Is that a Drive or a Brand of a DVD-R Disk. It seems that this guy gives the same reply to everyone. By the way, Thanks for the program names .. at least that gives me a bit of a start.

lol nice sentiments ;-)

You are correct that you cannot burn a copy onto another copy with DVDXCopy. There is a thread somehwere explaining how to do this. Im sorry, but im not sure where it is, it is somewhere though ;-)

A Pioneer DVRA06 is a dual format DVD Writer.

My understanding on copying DVDXCopy DVD's is to insert the disc into your drive. Right click and esplore the drive. Select all the VOB's and copy and past them somewhere. Download TMPGEnc DVD Author and add all of those VOB's into a new project. Create an output and you are ready to burn. for info, software and user guide on TMPGEnc DVD Author, check the user guide section of my signature below.

yep i do because it is basically the same question over and over! ppl should read the faqs
Quote:
All you need to do to backup a copy made with DVDXCopy or DVDXCopy Xpress, is copy the files to your hard drive (on the DVD, there will be a text file, the VIDEO_TS folder, and the AUDIO_TS folder). Then once they are copied to your hard drive, burn them with Nero using the DVD (ISO/UDF) setting. Works for me every time!
i dunno how that does not help, if it does not work sorry but i do not like or use dvdxcopy so i have no experience trying to copy back ups from xcopy

Even though I have answered this question atleast 10 times, its very simple.
Copy the contents of the disc to a folder on your compter (exactly)
Open Nero and burn the files to a disc.
Done.
An other way, copy the files, open Nero and select DVD video in the Wizard. Go to the folder where copied and move all files in the Video folder to the Video folder that Nero gives you. Done.
