So i have a 2.71 psp with a ta082 motherboard.... brand new.
What would you do with it????!!!
What are your favorite firmwares? iso's? you name it
basically i want to know what the most bad ass thing to do with my new psp is???
And i am moderately good with psp hacking i just want to know what i am missing out on so dont be afraid to speak psp language.

Look around the forums and get some ideas theres tons of mod tutorials on here
But first off...Get 3.03 oe-c, then mod everything else to your liking (xmb waves, start up sounds/text/images/etc, xmb icons/subicons, xmb font, volume bars, battery image, gameboot, and whatever else you can find

Upgrade to 3.03, downgrade to 1.5 using GTA:LCS, upgrade to 3.03oe-C and mod the living hell outa it XD

i agree with the guys above....OE-C, and then look into changing your gameboot dir/ so that you will have more options with the flash0/vsh/resource/ (which im sure is gibberish to you right now, but once you get an OE on your psp, will become a pretty cool option)

He's only on 2.71, he doesn't need to go upto 3.03 to downgrade

Yes but it hought upgrading to 3.03 first would be safer as the 3.03 downgrader patches motherboards. The 2.71 probabley does but i wasnt sure because ive never used it.

i'd say downgrade it directly to 1.5(use touran's guide, or any 2.71-1,5 guide here) then go 3.03oe-c(use hexitnow's wininstaller).

cool 3.03 oe-c seems to be the way... but i have also seen a lot of stuff for 3.10 oe-a...
is one better than the other?

HEY see i definetly want to get into the psx games on my psp, mostly for final fantasy tactics... i was addicted to that game. so maybe 3.10 oe a might be the way to go, i mean unless the psx stuff actually runs fine on oe-c.
ALSO im sure there will be some sweet games coming out for 3.11+... is either one a little more downgrade friendly???

Just try 3.03 first, if FF tactics doesnt work, update to 3.10
You mean official firmware 3.11+? If so theres no need to downgrade, by the time sonys released it, it would have been cracked and made into 3.11oe :)
