Need Help opening ps2 CD tray by hand

I cant figure out how to do this...ive opened up my ps2 and i think ive found the little white tab that locks the CD tray in but i cant get to it even with a credit card when closed....does anyone know what to do?

Without taking the casing off, open the drive as normal, remove the PS2 drive cover, when the ps2 is turned on, get a knife and manually open the white tab and push it to the right it will push the drive open(try and find a SLide tool video on youtube or something)

Is that what you wanted to know? you cant open the cd drive by hand unless your hand is super slim and i mean paper sized!

yea, thanks for the diagram...i cut this old credit card so many times...lolafter i thought i got it i practiced a bit...now its easy...thanks lol



Is there any exploit i can use that can allow me to play burned games....

Like if i get use a USB drive then save the exploit on a memcard using code breaker or AR max then load up the exploit and then from there?

Not that i know of. Modchip or Swap Magic discs are about the only way. And you can not use a copy of Swap Magic, it has to be an original.
Now there are exploits for playing games from an internal hard drive (HD Loader memory card exploits)
And also homebrew programs like SMS media player as well.

Install exploit, use uLaunchELF to load an cogswap.elf or an elf version of swap magic
