When I enter the code (without the SIM in my phone), nothing happens. The code just stays in the screen. Did I enter it incorrectly or do I have to press extra buttons???

No Problem just do this:

Insert a NON accepted sim card.When it says phone restricted, press "undo."
It will ask for a restriction code,and enter the code in to the box on screen,and then input this code press Ok
