Make sure you set "Use no UMD" to disabled in recovery mode->configuration
I dont think the demo disk will work as it is a multi content disk. Try a game
1 sec while i find my demo disk and i will confirm...

I stand corrected, the demo can be used (currently using it)
Check your ISO's are either ISO or CSO format, not DAX. Other than that you must have an incorrect setting in the recovery menu somewhere

By what? :S
Once you have a OE firmware the PSP is 90% brick-proof anyway because of the recovery menu

Never heard of that mate, and as i said it would be easy to fix anyways. Most bricks are caused by people modifying files in the flash memory anyway.
Been using OE for nearlly 3 months now and no probs so far.

AND ALSO I HAD A GTA.ISO THAT WORKED FINE BEFORE IN 3.03 OEX BUT KNOW WITH THE 3.10- OEX IT IS NOT WORKING.DO YOU GUYS KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THAT???

not sure if this is the right place to post this as i've already posted the same problem elsewhere - anyway here goes:
i had a v1.5 psp and a 1Gb mem card. Using devhook 0.46 I was able to play all my iso?s & cso?s without any problems.
I then bought a 4Gb card and upgraded to 3.03 OE-C using hexitnow?s winstaller.
I now have probs playing some iso?s and cso?s on both cards. If there was a problem with the rips then surely they would not have played on devhook 0.46 previously ?
Is there a recovery setting that I need to adjust to play these games ?
I formatted both the 4Gb card and the 1Gb card using the psp
I put the games into the iso folder, and have a umd in the drive.
the game icon appears but they do not seem to load when I click X ? sometimes it just says ?loading? and hangs there forever, sometimes the screen just goes blank. other games play no probs ?
another different problem I had was a game played really slowly just like a game would play on a pc if the RAM was low ?
and another game said ?game could not start 80020148? ?
my config reads as follows:
skip sce logo (disabled)
hide corrupt icons (enabled)
game folder homebrew (1.5 kernel)
autorun program at psp/game/boot/eboot.pbp (disabled)
use noUMD (enabled)
fake region (disabled)
free UMD region (disabled)
speed in XMB and UMD/ISO currently 222
I have tried altering region to see if that helped iso?s or cso?s but it had no effect.
Any help would be much appreciated folks

Ahh that old chestnut :)
Turn "Use no UMD" to disabled, and put ANY umd game into the drive. Then run the iso.
That sorts this problem out 99% of the time bomba, post back it it doesnt work for you

many thanks arc - ROCK N ROLL !!!!
most iso's and cso's are fine now. cheers.
i knew it couldn't be much.
i still have a prob with one game (band of brothers)
is there any way of speeding up the psp - it feels as if i'm playing a game on a pc with a really low amount of RAM ?
any ideas

Yup, go to CPU speed in recovery menu and try 266 or 300, should short it right out.
Have fun :P

Firstly. SORRY! I have used search but i cant find what i am looking for. My apologies!
Is there a walkthrough or complete guide to installing 3.03OE-C and running iso's?
I currently use the GTA hack to run a snes emulator but fancied having a go at MS stored iso and PSX files.
Again sorry i know its probably been asked a million times before.
