I flashed my Hitachi 78 using ToolBox 3.0 and it was working fine until saturday when all of a sudden it stop reading everything originals and backups. I pop a game in and it attemps to read for about 2 seconds then it gives my the open tray messege. It doesn't spin at all no vibration coming off the dvd drive. What could be wrong? Is my dvd drive broken? I just got it Febuary 2007. If broke can I just replace it with another Hitachi like a 47 which I found to work the best (my opinion). But I don't want to buy one. Please help. Thanks.
