Does anyone know if the DVD upscaling feature would be part of a firmware upgrade? or a whole new ps3. because i really want a ps3 and a upscaling would be a plus for me. thanks

As of now, it remains to be seen. All they've said is that they are going to do it in the future. My guess would be that it will be in a firmware upgrade, possibly the upcoming major one on the 8th(?)
