Hey again All,

Becoming a daily thing this it seems lol but you guys rock so here we go !

I downloaded a game from the newsgroups and when it come to extract it it comes up with error messages rar01 and so on damaged so it was recommended i download QuickPar which goes through all the R-files and will check them for errors,

So that is what i did below is the Error list:-

Need 745 More Blocks
Number of source files 67
Compete files 5
Damaged files 62
Misnamed files 0
Missing files 0

I have clicked the auto- repair button but nothing happens i am doing something wrong ?

I would guess that if there are 5 complete files and 62 damaged files that the .par files included aren't enough to fully repair the files. I think it can only repair so much.

repairing using par files does not always work. If too much info is missing it won't be able to fix it. But for me it has worked at least 80 percent of the time.

Yep... you got your problem right there in the first line. "Need 745 More Blocks".

Did you download all the par files?

Yeah seems the game was messed up could not get to work however all my others have been ok so its just the way it goes i suppose :-(
