i want to use outlook for some e-mails but it want work.
whats the story on pop3 e-mail?
will my yahoo account work with it,is it against the rules in yahoo?
also what files should i be backing up for protection,apart from my music,photos etc etc???

You need to get the "Incoming Mail Server" AND "Outgoing mail server (SMTP)" address from the e-mail service provider. And type those into outlook when configuring you account.

Free MSN and Yahoo email accounts may not work with Outlook or Outlook Express.

Seems Morph is right. You need one of these email addresses to use Outlook.
