Hi people.
My psp is on custom firmware 3.10 oe-a which is great.
But I accidently deleted flash0 vsh\resource - I backed it up but there is only 22 files instead of something like 35.
I have read other forums and its says that if this happens its a gonner but can I fix it if I can still access the recovery mode?
When I exit recovery mode there is just a black screen then it switches off.

Please could anyone help me with this problem?!?!?!?

Cheers for the help! Ive downloaded it then ran it and it says the battery must be atleast 75%, does the battery check bypass work with this when I put it on the charger?
Thanks

for uploading and downgrading and for recovery mode you need to have your battery at 75%.You should know that messing with the flash memory causes problems, big ones.

Out of curiousity, if you have backed up your flash0 and then delete something but can still get to recovery, can you just recopy from your dump rather than having to completely re-install the firmware?

Lol, if your using the custom firmwares don't use PSPSet, thats more for 1.50 firmware in my opinion. Just enter recovery mode, and go in to USB mode for Flash0. And copy your custom stuff in vsh/resource.

Totally agree. I don't really get why flasher apps are still being released when using the USB toggle is by far the safest and easiest way to flash anything in flash0 or flash1. I guess they are of use for the 1.5 hardcore though.

Yeah and it almost seems if that you know what your doing when installing custom XMB themes, that aslong as you backup your resource folder, you can pretty well take the word brick right out since you can just replace old files to recover from a semi-brick.
