Hi, i've just got my new PSP, the firmware is version 2.50, i want to upgrade the firmware to 3.** that allows homebrew content etc, i've looked around but i just need information from a reliable source on how to do this without bricking the thing! thanks.

youve gotta downgrade your firmware before you can upgrade to any custom firmware... 1.50 is the golden firmware my friend, you can put any OEx on from there...

as I have not downgraded a 2.50, only 3.03s, im sure that someone in the forum discussion can drop a proper guide on how to get this done for you...sit tight mate
