I am trying to extract an ISO with the .001 extention. I renamed it to .rar and now it is associated with WinZIP and I can't unassociate it. Is there a way I can make it a .001 file again? Then how do I extract it? I opened WinZIP and browsed for the file, but when I found it and clicked on it, an error message came up.

if you renamed it to a rar extention, you should use WinRAR to open it (as WinRAR opens both ZIP & RAR files; WinZIP only opens zip files)

that ".001" sounds like a rar archive, ive dld movies like that....

give WinRAR a try, if it doesnt open it, we'll sus it out further...
