Im new to this and im trying to downgrade my 2.71psp(TA-82) but am confused at this step... after downloading files Its says I need to copy everything from 271DG.rar to ROOT of memory stick BUT NOT TO COPY INTO MP ROOT... All I see is MP ROOT? the other file is PSP what am I missing??

im a noob too and i just successfully down/upgraded 2 psp to 3.03 OEC.

i can try to help but im using the easy installer with touran22's guide.

but im not sure about others.

Ok my problem now is different i am attempting to use the easy installer for the 2.71 Ta-082 but when I go to easy install files to MS it gives me a PSP Hauptverzeichnis Whalen file?? after this I am completely lost

what they meant when they said root is the main forlder of the mem stick exp x:\ (x being psp drive) inside the x:\ you have folder x:\MP_ROOT they dont want you to copy the files there. And it sounds like your using something set in the wrong language try finding a english one.
