I know this is probably a stupid question but dont lay in to hard. Now I got AVG and ran a test on a couple files I downloaded. Now it came up with some detected as trojens. But get this, theres no button to send it to the virus vault. Im going to scan again to show and give a step by step. Now, I go and right click on the folder I want to scan and click "scan with AVG". It pops up with a little box and starts to scan. Then it pops up with a "scanning statistics" box that says threat detected. Now it has a couple options. The first is "display test configuration". Then theres help, display result and close. I click display result. This takes me to a test result dialog box. It has two tabs: Result overview and Virus results. The first is just a little list of what was found total and cleaned etc. I go over to virus results. This shows the detected files. Now when I highlight a file, the only option it gives is to go to that file. I click it and it opens up windows explore to the folder. Theres no options to send to the vault. How do I do that?! I right clicked the file which showed no option. I go to send to and it doesnt list the vault. Is there a hidden setting that I just didnt find even after all my searching? Thanks in advance.
EDIT- P.S. can I just delete the file with windows explore or will that execute the virus script?
EDIT- I have AVG 7.5.447 (full I believe) and Windows XP Media Center 2005(like the OS really matters much but who knows).
Doesnt expecting the unexpected make the unexpected expected and therefore mean youre expecting the expected which was the unexpected until you expected it?
