Hi I currently own a 2.6 psp and was wondering how do I get homebrew games and psx games and the newest functions on my psp at once.

I know I have to downgrade but to what? cause there's so many version's out there.

Please show me the steps to achieve this.

First what you want to check, is if your PSP is a TA-082.

If yours is infact NOT a TA-082, I can definitely help you out.

use the wrong downgrader and ur psp will brick i think. i suggest upgrade to 2.71 then using the easy 2.71 downgrader to get to 1.5

well u can upgrade to 3.03 oe-c ,which btw is a really good and nice fw(it's what me and the most psp users use), by simply following the instructions of this thread:http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/460892
