Guys, I have the same problem. I never had this problem before. I haven't played my PSP ever since Xmas, but today I tried it and it stop working for me. It kept saying I need to update the system software. It pissed me off.
The weirdest thing happeneded today. I had no problem loading the Devhook FW 1.5 on my 2.7 PSP

However, today, it just stopped working for me.
Each time I try to load my ISO games, it kept saying that I need to update my system software. Any great guy can help me, please!!!

you shouldnt run 1.5 to play isc's.
the higher the firmware you run, the more chance a game will work.
personal opinion, id update to 3.03oe or 3.10oe. then you wont need to run hend or devhook. iso'c just load straight from your ms.
im a bit lost with what your problem is to be honest so if this isnt any help let me no.

i use 3.03oe-c ad all my games downloads work fine from ms.
but dont upgrade with the proper sony fm. that will just make things worse.

@stagass
what does your psx game look like? as in what files is there? ther should be 2 files, .bin and a keys file.
you got them?
@jackielqj
i suggest you upgrade to 3.03oe-c custom firmware and forget about using devhook.
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1044 download that if you decide to upgrade and it will tell you what you need to no on how its done.
if you upgrade to 3.03oe then ull be able to play your downloads by going to memory stick, under game, and selecting the one you want and you wont have to use any loaders or anything like devhook.

now that's the prob. you see, you should paste on on the "GAME" folder, not GAME150 or GAME303. they share the same directory w/ where you can locate your game150 and game303. if there's none, then create one.
@jakielqj
so you haven't been updated w/ the psp mate'? well i say try reading w/ what's latest and you'll find out about custom firmwares. there you can play iso/psx games w/o the need of loaders like devhook/homebrew. :)
