No matter what I have tried - changing/updating 1394 drivers, disabling 1394 connection in "my network connections",trying different firewire cables,making sure firewire card is ohci compliant,using diffrent software programs such as Ulead video studio 6,VirtualDub,MyDVD, Windows MovieMaker and others , I cannot get my firewire connection to capture AVI's from CanonGL2 DV camcorder -Camera is initially recognized by capture programs but video won't capture -
Is the USB 2.0 interface a viable option to capturing digital video?
