Assuming you want to be able to get custom firmware...

Your going to have to upgrade to 3.03 (using a provided download file) Then downgrade to 1.50 following a tutorial (you'll need an unpatched version umd of GTA:LCS to be able to do this) Then upgrade to your desired firmware. Although once you get to 1.50 i suggest you use hexitnow's winstaller to get to 3.03 oe-c you can find that stickied in this forum. Just look up a tutorial for this whole process as i don't know any off the top of my head and don't feel like searching at this point.

or you can downgrade to 2.71 then go 1.5 and then 3.03oe-c. in that way you can play iso games and psxgames and have a customized xmb :)

2.8 has a downgrader, so there is no need to upgrade to 3.03, staxx
