Hi,
I'm new to this PSP homebrew. Can some one please tell me how to run ISO UMD games on 3.10 OE-A'? It just keeps saying: "The game could not be started (80020130)"
If somebody help me on this or point me to a tutorial I would GREATLY appreciate it.
(and I own the games, I just downloaded a backup).

Man this should be stickied lol
1)Insert a UMD Game into the drive
2)Hold "R" at power up
3)Go to configuration and DISABLE "Use no UMD"
4)Make sure the ISO is in ms0:/ISO
5) Run the game

if i wanted to update to firmware 3.10 OE-A and play my snes games would i need a special program like devhook and what are the chances of bricking? And would i need a umd to play my ISO's/CSO's?

Yes homebrew support for 3.10 OE-A...no DEVhook Required to run ISO&CSO's...
Theres about a two percent chance of bricking....only if you dont follow directions...

Do you guys recommend updating to 3.10 OE-A and will i have all of the benefits of 1.5 if i do upgrade?

yes! you will...homebrew & all!
I recommend 3.03 OE-C; the newest OE for 3.10 isnt necissarily the best OE, it is an OE-"A" after all, not an OE-"C" (denoting a long time before full custimization is possible)
OE-C if you like to change almost everything about the way your psp runs & handles, 3.10 OE-A if you are avid about the brand new games from sony...which is like only 30 something titles...not to o many of them worth upgrading for, sept ratchet & clank...thats it though..

not just the benefits of 1.5 but more than the benefits of 1.5 using devhook :)

if youve formatted your memory stick, then just place them in the ISO folder...

go into recovery:
turn your psp all the way off.. hold up the off switch for at least 6-8 secs...turn it back on while holding right trigger.....
CONFIGURATION>>
Use noUMD (currently:_________)
*should be disabled, if not disable it....
then check your kernel settings, in the same sub-menu...should be set to 1.50 Kernel...
hope this helps mate
