Media im using JVC vd-r47(£1.69 a month ago now they are bloody 99p)

backed up two towers using xpress
mint quality played on xbox

just being curious i did another dvd (same media)dvd decrypt then dvd2to1 burnt with nero 5.5.10. The qualty was abit crap, you can see it is abit blocky, and it didnt play on the xbox

ok
then i used the dvd decrypt file and used shrink to 45% compression. Instead of burning it i watched it on power dvd and it was the same as the dvd21

So I hate to say it Xpress comes out top
WHY!!

Q1
Is there any progamme out there where i can access Xpress burnengine to put a file from the hard drive and use that
Q2
is the JVC vd-r47 DVD-R any good
Q3
why wont the dvd21 method work on xbox

Backed others using decrypt-dvd21 using ritek but this Xpress blew me away to say this is nearly 3hr film

Why not use either:
A). DVD2One variable compresion movie only
B). DVD SHrin with Deep analysis

DVD Shrink partnered with Nero is another good option. Definately do the deep analysis in Shrink (adds about 30 minutes, but helps video quality).

DVDXCopy Xpress is not the best for many different reasons.
I have back ups done using DVD2One that are 3 hrs & if using an up to date version of DVD2One you'd end up with results like I have had ... quality copies

DVD2One copies do work on X-Box using Ritek G03 DVD-R [w/out modchip of anykind].

http://www.dvdshrink.info/nero-udf-iso.php

I'd step up to DVD2One v1.20 or 1.23 so as you get the option beteween Variable / Constant compression...

P.S. Use Nero Burning Rom over it's Xpress counterpart...
I persoanlly use Nero DVD-Video (through Wizard) but have my settings so it burns in a UDF/ISO manner.
But if you use above link / guide you should have 100% success

I'm currently using DVD Shrink + Nero6 Ultra.

I only extract the movie file and kick out all the stupid extras. I'm loving it.
