SCAN FINDING NO CHANNELS

i have a nokia dbox 2 which i bought from ebay, when i scan i find no channels. when i FTP my area files it still does not show anything, not even bbci get a blank screen saying channels not available. i know my cable is live because i use it for broadband.

please help

Which image do you have? I know someone who had the same problem, and it was only because he didi't have an uk image on his box.
